Better Business Summit South 2025 Information

The Better Business Summit is the annual flagship conference by the Better Business Network, a community for like-minded Business Leaders that want to create positive action. Hundreds of purpose-driven individuals, change-makers, and innovators have attended our conferences in Manchester in 2023, 2024 and 2025, a three day event that inspires businesses to take action.

This year, we are taking our famous Better Business Summit to the South for a smaller, but just as impactful two day event, designed to unite Projects’ members, the wider Brighton community and any Southern-based businesses who believe that business can and should be a force for good.

This will comprise of a one day Conference, followed by a day in nature. This event wouldn’t be possible without our headline sponsor Ticket Tailor who are making this event even more special.

Tickets start at £95+VAT and are selling fast so DON’T WAIT AROUND

We have, as always, Pay What you Can Tickets too. On Thursday 10th April, a Conference Day will be held at Projects, Nile House exploring how we can create systemic change through collective action, education and support. We encourage our attendees to get involved and so there will be plenty of opportunities for Q&A, sharing stories and networking.

On Friday 11th April, we will be taking attendees into Nature to reflect and connect with each other and the world we are working on making better through a trip to the rewilding project at Wilderlands, a natural woodland in Sussex. There will be guided walks, wildflower seeding, local seasonal organic food and much more! This is delivered in partnership with our friends at Locate Productions.

Both BBN and Projects Members get a discounted rate on tickets to the event. On Thursday, attendees enjoy free tea and coffee, a catered plant based lunch as well as an invitation to our breakfast networking event and after party included in their ticket price. On Friday, tickets include transport to the Day in Nature site, a catered plant based lunch, a donation to the rewilding project and all included activities!

FRIDAY 11TH APRIL

DAY IN NATURE 09:00-17:00

This incredible day is centred around the incredible work at the rewilding project, where you’ll find practical and inspiring hands-on activities that will help this beautiful natural landscape thrive for generations. Guests arrive at the barn on site initially for hot drinks and snacks, before embarking on a guided walk from the guardian of the site Huw Williams who will talk about the rewilding project, discussing how to bring nature, art and communities together. Everything will be coming into bud so this will be a spectacular experience, where you will see the bluebells on show! ✨

We will then do some group activities that support the restoration of the site and give you a chance to reflect and reconnect with the natural world, through wildflower sowing. This is also a great way to meet your fellow attendees and build stronger relationships with other purpose driven businesses who attended the conference!

We then reconvene for a catered, plant based lunch at the barn. All produce is locally sourced and grown in Sussex from The Sussex Peasant and made entirely by local chefs and local businesses.

Transport will be included for attendees, with pick-ups from Haywards Heath and Brighton station (regular trains from London & Brighton) by minibus, We try to minimise carbon emissions by bringing the majority of guests on site this way, although there is space for some cars on site but we would highly encourage car sharing in this instance and only if it is really necessary.
